Acton Academy of Washington, DC is a Montessori preschool/kindergarten and student-centered elementary and middle school in Foggy Bottom. For preschool/kindergarten (ages 3-6), Acton offers a beautiful, nurturing, and challenging Montessori program in a home-like setting. In elementary (grades 1-5) and middle school (grades 6-8), Acton is Montessori reimagined for the 21st century, combining individualized learning with Socratic discussions and project-based learning. Acton Montessori is an all-day program (8am-5:30pm) with flexible drop-off and pick-up times. Acton elementary and middle school offer all-day (8am-5:00pm) and school-day (8am-3:00pm) enrollment options.
