The Douglass family has been managing properties in Washington D.C. since the early twentieth century. Douglass Management, Inc. began with James E. Douglass and his wife, Nellie, when they built a fifty-two-unit apartment building on the upper outskirts of northwest Washington, DC. They named it "Sulgrave Manor" for George Washington's ancestral home in England. Though there was farmland nearby, the surrounding neighborhood and city as a whole has developed considerably over the generations. Four generations later, the business is still owned and operated by the family. We are very engaged and interested in the needs and comfort of our tenants. Stop by for a tour!
