Dr. W. Max Hurley-Dorof is an openly queer clinical psychologist who approaches the therapeutic relationship from an open, warm and nonjudgmental perspective. He provides individual, couples, and group therapy to those with a vast range of presentations, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, identity development, relationship issues, social adversity and grief & loss. He works with individuals across the lifespan, with a special interest in and experience working with the LGBTQ+, college-aged, and Veteran populations. Dr. Hurley-Dorof completed a master’s degree and doctorate in clinical psychology from the George Washington University, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the George Washington University Center Clinic.
