Javairiah Fatima, MD

Javairiah Fatima, MD, an Assistant Professor of Surgery, serves as the Co-Director of the Complex Aortic Center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Site Director of the MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. She also serves as the co-editor of the thoracic section of the Endovascular Today Journal. As a vascular surgeon, Dr Fatima performs the whole spectrum of vascular surgery? both open and endovascular procedures including treatment of mesenteric disease, peripheral vascular disease, and carotid disease, among others. She specializes in open and endovascular aortic surgeries, aortic dissections, and fenestrated aortic aneurysm repair surgery (FEVAR).
