Dr Megan Quintana is currently a trauma surgeon at George Washington University Hospital. A native of Colorado, Megan graduated with honors from Yale University with a degree in the History of Science and Medicine, specifically studying World War II German medicine. She then attended the University of Colorado for Medical School followed by a seven year general surgery residency at the University of North Carolina. During her residency, she completed a two year research fellowship in cardiovascular pathology. After residency, Megan completed a fellowship in Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery at Shock Trauma in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr Quintana is now an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the George Washington University.
