Shaw Main Streets promotes commercial revitalization and historic preservation in Washington, DC's Shaw neighborhood, using the National Main Street Center's Four Point Approach. A nationally accredited Main Street program, funded in part by the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development, Shaw Main Streets is the winner of the Great American Main Street Award (2016) and Innovation on Main Street Award (2015), both conferred by Main Street America. Signature annual events include Eat.Drink.Shaw., a food and beverage showcase, and Art All Night DC, a free overnight arts festival that began in Shaw in 2011 and is now citywide.
