Sustainable Harvest International

Sustainable Harvest International is a nonprofit with over 25 years of experience in sustainable farming. We partner with family farmers in Central America to implement natural methods that improve soil quality. Conventional agriculture destroys land through slash-and-burn methods, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers. Our sustainable practices restore landscapes and give family farmers more abundant harvests, leading to food security and improved livelihoods. Partner farmers learn how to feed themselves, their families, and communities in rural areas where healthy food is inaccessible. Sustainable farming also contributes to climate action, such as through tree planting.
